Marsh, within the People and Investments business, seeks a Summer Analyst to join the Workforce and Rewards team in Chicago. This hybrid role requires in-office work at least three days per week and offers exposure to talent strategy, HR transformation, and analytics on client engagements.

You will conduct research, analyze data, and develop client recommendations with senior team members, gaining hands-on experience in presenting to executives and HR leaders.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workforce and Rewards team, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.Marsh People and Investments is uniquely qualified to help organizations design and execute sophisticated workforce strategies, whether it's for a multinational organization or a local company attempting to grow within its market. We provide best-in-class consulting, rigorous analytics, and data-driven insights that help organizations make fact-based decisions. As a Summer Analyst on Marsh Workforce and Rewards team, you will support client engagements across industries as an integral member of project teams. You'll help diagnose client challenges and contribute to the design of strategic talent solutions across Rewards, HR Transformation, Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning & Analytics, and Communications. The role combines hands-on research, modeling, and problem solving with client interaction, working with senior clients and internal experts in a collaborative, learning-oriented environment. We will count on you to:

• Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues that could include business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices and trends, global expansion, and best practices in talent management
• Collect and examine data relevant to developing solutions tailored to the client's needs
• Analyze clients' strategic, financial, and organizational information to provide insights for more senior members of the project team
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop client recommendations
• Prepare client presentations, including recommendations to be presented to boards of directors, executives, senior management, and HR leaders

What you need to have:

• Progress toward a bachelor's degree
• Status as a currently enrolled student; candidates should have an expected graduation date between the Fall 2027 through Spring 2028
• Strong academic achievement demonstrated through rigorous course work, and the ability to successfully balance extra-curricular activities
• A strong interest in human capital consulting
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required
