Job summary

Munich Re America Services is seeking a Workflow Coordinator in Princeton, NJ. The role focuses on identifying and distributing accounting and claims-related correspondence with accuracy and adherence to SLAs.

You will categorize content, route to the correct teams, and support client requests using written and verbal communication. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years of office experience, and familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Munich Re operational/financial processing systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook.
  • Strong organization, prioritization and follow-through to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and categorize correspondence from clients according to content (e.g., first notice of loss, updates, financials).
  • Ensure correspondence is assigned to correct loss number and department.
  • Research newly reported losses to ensure they do not already exist in the global reinsurance system before categorizing content as first notice of loss.
  • Respond to internal and external client requests using written and verbal communication.
  • May participate in projects as needed.

The Workflow Coordinator is responsible for identifying and accurately distributing a high volume of accounting and claims related correspondence.

Responsibilities for this role will primarily focus on the timely handling of the following tasks in accordance with best practices, policies and procedures, and/or service level agreements:

  • Identify and categorize correspondence received from our clients according to content (first notice of loss, updates, financials, statement of accounts, etc.)
  • Ensure correspondence is assigned to the correct loss number and department and person for handling within Claims or Reinsurance Accounting.
  • Research newly reported losses do not already exist in global reinsurance system prior to categorizing content as first notice of loss.
  • Respond, with guidance, to internal and external client requests utilizing both written and verbal communication.
  • May participate in projects as needed.

Successful candidates will possess the following experience, skills and capabilities:

  • A high school diploma is required
  • 2+ years office experience, preferred
  • Obtain a working knowledge of Munich Re operational and/or financial processing systems
  • Have a working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong organization, prioritization and follow-through skills for handling high volume intake in order to meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, relationships and teamwork.
  • Open-minded, receptive to innovation and automation.
  • Uses judgement and problem solving skills to detect routine issues.
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of MRAm organization and functions performed.
  • Ability to review and identify contract terms applicable to job function and obtain a familiarity with reinsurance terms and concepts.

The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company’s Princeton location.The base salary range anticipated for this position is $46,000- $53,000plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
