Qualifications

• State licensure as required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and claims software.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate settlements for workers' compensation claims promptly and fairly.
• Investigate claims by engaging insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
• Analyze coverage and benefits to inform settlement decisions.
• Establish and adjust reserves per settlement strategy.
• Collaborate with managed care and medical resources during settlement.
• Review medical records and incident reports to support settlements.
• Document processes clearly in claims files and communications.
• Manage multiple negotiations to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Develop effective negotiation tactics based on claim exposure.
