Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Workers Compensation Claims Representative to analyze Lost-Time claims for major clients. You will determine benefits due, manage adjudication within service standards, and coordinate with claimants and clients. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and client service in a remote setup.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of claims experience, a high school diploma or GED, and WV knowledge. Bachelor’s degree preferred; licensing is not required.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To analyze Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims on behalf of our valued clients to determine benefits due, while ensuring ongoing adjudication of claims within service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: WV preferred
• Licensing: not required

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is (58,000 - 63,000).
