Sedgwick, a global leader in risk and claims management, seeks a dedicated Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to adjudicate complex claims from a remote setting across the United States. You will determine benefits due, investigate claims, and communicate with claimants and clients in a professional, timely manner.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred) and about 5 years of claims management experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent education/experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong judgment, analytical thinking and problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Adjudicate complex Lost-Time Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Investigate information to determine exposure and benefits.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.

To analyze Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims on behalf of our valued clients to determine benefits due, while ensuring ongoing adjudication of claims within service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service requirements

Analyzing and processing claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim.

• ~ Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• ~ Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
• ~ Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to requests of directions in a professional and timely manner.

Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Experience: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Heavy Litigation - experience requiredFlexible work schedule.
