Job summary

LumenCeler Group's claimant-side workers’ compensation practice in Oregon invites an experienced attorney to join its new Portland location. The attorney will manage matters from initial claim evaluation through resolution, including petitions, discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations and settlements.

The ideal candidate is Oregon-licensed with a strong claimant-side background, able to handle matters independently and contribute to growing the new office while managing a high-volume

Job description

This is a well-established claimant-side workers’ compensation practice representing injured workers, with an exciting opportunity to join the firm’s new Oregon location. The attorney will manage workers’ compensation matters from initial claim evaluation through resolution, handling petitions, discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

The firm offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong operational and litigation support, allowing attorneys to take ownership of their cases while working alongside an experienced team focused on client advocacy. The Managing Attorney will have the opportunity to play a key role in establishing and growing the new Oregon office while managing a high-volume caseload and helping shape the continued success of the location.

The ideal candidate is an Oregon-licensed attorney with a strong background in claimant-side workers’ compensation who is comfortable managing matters independently from inception through resolution. Experience handling hearings before workers’ compensation judges, depositions, medical experts, petitions, motions, settlement negotiations, and complex or high-volume caseloads is strongly preferred. The role is particularly well suited for an attorney who enjoys both hands-on litigation and taking on leadership responsibility within a growing office.
