Job description

Summary

Morgan & Morgan is looking for an Attorney interested in learning Workers' Compensation from the ground up. The Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney will work alongside world‑class, experienced Workers' Compensation litigation attorneys handling a heavy and complex case load. This role offers a linear growth path and the opportunity to eventually earn more in Workers' Compensation than elsewhere in the state.

Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day handling of cases and hearings.
  • Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memorandum.
  • Guiding clients through the case process.
  • Interacting with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits.
  • Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Self‑starter driven by long‑term career goals.
