Summary

Morgan & Morgan is looking for an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role involves handling a heavy and complex case load of cases and hearings, building out a new statewide workers’ compensation practice, and managing a robust influx of cases.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day handling of cases and hearings
• Drafting and filing litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
• Guiding clients through the case process
• Coordinating with expert witnesses for conferences, drafting of expert reports, and affidavits
• Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the NM State Bar Association
• Minimum 3+ years of workers’ compensation experience
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
