Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claim Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of claims for PEO clients, from initial report to closure. You will coordinate with clients, carriers, adjusters, and the RM team to ensure accurate reporting and thorough documentation.

You will support onboarding, risk and safety education, regulatory compliance, and reporting, while maintaining files in CHR and PRISM and ensuring timely communication and resolution of claim issues.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of workers' compensation claims experience (required).
• Experience with PEO environments and claim processing workflows (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and file new workers' compensation claims with carriers and RM team.
• Maintain claim files in CHR management system and PRISM.
• Coordinate with clients, adjusters, and RM on treatment records and return-to-work status.
• Prepare reports for carriers and OSHA updates; monitor open claims and resolve issues.
• Support onboarding, risk education, and cross-team risk management activities.
