Job summary

Sedgwick in Ontario, CA is seeking a Claims Representative - Workers Compensation to adjudicate complex claims, apply supervisory knowledge, and deliver client-focused solutions within a global leader known for care.

You will manage litigation, coordinate vendor referrals, lead team meetings, and support the team lead with workload reviews. The role emphasizes flexibility, development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyses and processes complex or technically difficult general liability claims by investigating and gathering information to determine exposure.
• Manages the litigation process; ensures timely and cost-effective claims resolution.
• Coordinates vendor referrals for additional investigation and/or litigation management.
• Leads team meetings and assigns accountability for follow-up items.
• Gathers important compliance/claims processing information to be presented at team meetings.
• Assists in interviews of adjusters and clerical staff and provides feedback to hiring manager.
• Provides support to team lead with monthly review of adjuster workloads; may include up to three direct reports.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Professional certification as applicable to line of business
