Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is hiring a grain operations associate in Dunkirk, IN to support receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping of grain. You will perform inspection tasks, operate grain handling equipment, and maintain clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Minimal supervision is provided, with focus on accuracy and teamwork. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and some grain operations experience; physical stamina is essential for lifting and standing

Position Summary

This position is responsible for performing operations tasks involving the receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping of grain.

Key Responsibilities

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Previous grain operations experience preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

Must be able to stand for an extended period of time

Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds

Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feet

Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures

Working conditions could include dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces
