Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP in Atlanta, GA seeks a Payroll Systems Technical Lead to be the technical resource for Workday Payroll, reporting, testing, and process improvement. You will partner with HRIS to translate requirements, validate changes, and support payroll initiatives.

You will develop Workday reports, test releases, and document issues while leading payroll-focused initiatives and building training materials for new functionality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive U.S. payroll experience including processing, validation, year-end, and reporting.
• Experience using Workday Payroll for production payroll processes and testing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical subject matter resource for Workday Payroll functionality and payroll business processes.
• Translate payroll requirements into clear specifications in partnership with HRIS and validate changes.
• Coordinate and perform payroll-focused testing for releases and system changes with documented results.
• Develop and support Workday reports, calculated fields, worksheets, and dashboards.
• Investigate payroll issues and document findings clearly.
• Represent Payroll on cross-functional initiatives and communicate impacts.
• Create training, job aids, and documentation for new functionality.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes through automation and reporting.
