The College is seeking a Workday Analyst to manage classification, compensation, and data within Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll and more. This role will coordinate with stakeholders to plan updates and ensure data accuracy.
Responsibilities include system administration, report development, and analytics, with a focus on Open Enrollment, Performance Management, and salary policy evaluation. Ideal candidates have 3+ years configuring Workday HCM and strong Excel skills.
This position is responsible for managing job classification and compensation, maintaining data and business processes within the Workday (the Human Capital Management Software) platform including employee data, position changes, learning campaigns, reporting, and the performance evaluation system. This position will negotiate priorities and long-term plans with stakeholders, and technical team, for updates/changes within Workday (supporting Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll and Compensation).
(1) Workday Analyst - 65%
Core Responsibilities:
(2) HCM. Manage and maintain the Human Capital Management Software (HCM). Ensure that employee data is accurate and updated in a timely manner. Develop, modify and generate reports for the HR department using HCM. Develop expertise in HR systems, processes and data. Serve as HR subject matter expert for technology or process changes involving the HCM software. Recommend and implement technology and its utilization to improve efficiency. - 20%
(3) Compensation. Analyze and modify compensation policies to establish competitive programs, ensure compliance with legal requirements and consistency with the college mission, and maintain equitable treatment of employees. Oversee the evaluation, classification and rating of occupations and jobs. Determine worker classification per FLSA guidelines. Maintain the job classification system and grade schedule for the college. Prepare and submit annual compensation surveys and interpret results (IPEDS, CUPA, etc.). Monitor and provide reporting on compensation plans. Assist supervisors in writing accurate, up-to-date job descriptions without bias that encourages underrepresented individuals to apply. Conduct job audits. Provide salary/wage recommendations, as requested. - 10%
(4) Provide general human resources assistance to employees. Work with payroll staff to identify and troubleshoot short-term payroll-processing issues and strategize longer-term environmental (legal, financial, systemic, etc.) payroll issues. Provide backup to the Senior Employment Specialist and the Senior Benefits and Safety Specialist. - 5%
(5) Perform additional duties as assigned and attend college required training. Regular attendance is required. Work in a manner that is aware of personal safety and the safety of others and observes safety, health and sanitation codes, regulations, or practices required by the College or governmental authority.

The regular hours for the position are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Demands of the position may necessitate working additional hours and days from time to time.
