Job summary

Huron Consulting in the United States seeks a Director to lead large-scale Workday transformations, partnering with senior client executives to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will serve as the program executive, align transformation objectives with corporate goals, and guide governance across engagements.

You will drive delivery leadership, oversee scope, schedule and budget, mentor teams, and expand client relationships while ensuring sustained value and client satisfaction.

• Build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders including CIOs, CFOs, CHROs, COOs and other leaders.
• Lead delivery for large-scale Workday transformations, including implementation, optimization, expansion, and post-production support.
• Advise on business transformation, workforce transformation, finance modernization, and organizational growth strategies.
• Oversee program financial performance, including forecasting, resources, margins, billing, and engagement health.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Client Leadership & Relationship Management

Serve as the program executive and trusted advisor for Commercial Workday engagements across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, consumer products, technology, professional services, retail, distribution, and other commercial sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, including CIOs, CFOs, CHROs, COOs, and other business leaders.

Partner with senior client stakeholders to align transformation objectives with organizational goals, growth strategies, and business priorities.

Anticipate client challenges and proactively recommend solutions that drive operational efficiency, workforce effectiveness, financial performance, and long-term business value.

Lead executive steering committees and governance discussions while providing strategic direction and executive-level communication.

Serve as the senior escalation point for complex engagement, relationship, delivery, or governance matters.

Program & Delivery Leadership

Partner with Huron Managing Directors and Principals to serve as the Delivery Leader for large-scale Workday transformation programs, including implementation, optimization, expansion, and post-production support engagements.

Ensure successful execution across scope, timeline, budget, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.

Guide delivery teams through strategic decision-making, risk mitigation, organizational change management, and issue resolution.

Champion Huron implementation methodologies, delivery standards, and Commercial industry leading practices.

Oversee program financial performance, including forecasting, resource planning, margins, billing, and overall engagement health.

Ensure delivery teams maintain accountability for project outcomes, executive expectations, and client commitments.

Commercial Industry Advisory

Serve as a trusted advisor on business transformation, operational excellence, and technology-enabled modernization initiatives.

Lead strategic discussions around workforce transformation, finance modernization, supply chain optimization, shared services, procurement, operational effectiveness, and organizational growth strategies.

Advise clients on industry trends, leading practices, competitive market dynamics, and emerging opportunities across Commercial industries.

Facilitate executive-level discussions regarding Agentic AI, intelligent automation, future-state operating models, and digital transformation strategies.

Provide strategic guidance regarding Workday roadmap alignment, platform maximization, and organizational adoption strategies.

Help clients leverage Workday to support growth, scalability, operational efficiency, and business performance objectives.
