Job summary

AtWork Group is seeking an experienced Workday Functional Analyst I with Core HCM expertise to support, optimize, and enhance our Workday HCM platform. This role configures Workday, improves business processes, supports end users, and creates training resources to drive adoption.

You will collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders, design and test configurations, build reports, and deliver training materials and mentoring to ensure consistent system use across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on Workday Core HCM experience is required.
• Experience configuring and supporting Workday HCM.
• Strong knowledge of Core HCM Business Process Configuration Security Configuration Calculated Fields Validation Rules Condition Rules.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience creating training materials and supporting end-user adoption.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Core HCM functionality.
• Design and enhance business processes, tenant configuration, security, and system features.
• Develop and troubleshoot calculated fields, condition rules, validation rules, and other configuration components.
• Evaluate, test, and deploy Workday feature releases and system enhancements.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system improvements.
• Analyze and resolve complex functional issues while identifying opportunities for process optimization.
• Develop user-friendly training materials, quick reference guides, and knowledge documentation.
• Deliver training and mentor end users to encourage consistent system adoption.
• Participate in application testing, upgrades, and ongoing support initiatives.
• Provide after-hours support as needed for system maintenance and critical business operations.
