Job summary

Strada is seeking a Workday Benefits Consultant (AMS/post production) to join our growing team. You will independently consult with external clients and drive Workday Benefits, Compensation, Learning or Talent deliverables from planning through deployment across multiple projects.

You will partner with colleagues to ensure scope, timelines and budgets are met, while sharing Workday best practices and Strada perspectives. Mobility and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or financial discipline or relevant field of study required.
• 2–3 years experience implementing/configuring Workday Benefits, Compensation, Learning or Talent; Workday post-production preferred.
• Previous consulting experience with internal or external teams preferred.
• Excellent facilitation/presentation skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into complex configurations.
• Strong time management across multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Consults with external clients and participates in all Workday project lifecycle stages.
• Delivers medium to large client work across concurrent projects per Strada standards.
• Manages scope, timeline and budget; coordinates with team members as needed.
• Interprets client needs, offers expert guidance, and recommends solutions.
• Articulates lessons learned and Workday best practices to clients.

Strada is currently recruiting for aWorkday Benefits Consultant (AMS/post production). We have an ever-expanding business pipeline and are seeking suitably skilled and interested candidates to help us build our practice in line with the growth of the Workday ecosystem.

As a Workday Benefits Functional Consultant, you will play a key role as part of an industry-leading team, helping to drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions.

The Role

• Independently consults with external clients and participates in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment for Workday HCM and/or Financials application.
• Effectively executes medium to large client deliverables from start to finish across multiple, concurrent projects utilizing Strada’s quality standards and consulting methodology.
• Manages self and work to project scope, timeline and budget. Coordinates with others when applicable.
• Listens to client request, assesses actual client need, provides subjective matter expertise, proposes alternatives, and recommends solution(s).
• Frequently discusses, and can articulate to clients, lessons learned from previous client experience, Workday best practices, as well as Strada’s Point of View.
• Provides direction and guidance internally to less experienced colleagues by directing work and reviewing deliverables.
• Participates in or may lead internal business initiatives to assist the organization in building our Strada brand and collateral, including but not limited to internal domain groups, chats and training.
• Participates in building the Strada Brand by participating in Workday ecosystem product groups/chats.
• Serves as Subject Matter Expert in functional/technical area.
• Has specialized and deepened skill set within an area, e.g., such as Compensation, Benefits, Financials, etc.
• Creates work estimates for small to large bodies of work.

The Requirments

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or financial discipline or relevant field of study required.
• 2 to 3 years previous experience implementing and/or configuring Workday Benefits, Compensation, Learning or Talent. Prior experience may include PeopleSoft, SAP, ADP, Oracle E-Business, Ultipro or other SaaS software solutions. However, Workday deployment and/or post-production experience strongly preferred.
• Previous consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization is preferred.
• Possesses strong facilitation/presentation skills.
• Experience in transforming business requirements into complex system configurations.
• Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects. Time management and organizational skills are required for success.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision.
• Demonstrates strong work ethics, setting an example for others.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Proficient to advanced MS Excel Skills to be used to transform data (advanced formulas).
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• This role does not support sponsorship.
• Workday Benefits certification is required. Certification in multiple functional areas is a plus.
