Site-Seeker WordPress and Elementor Developer
Role Summary
We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Junior/Mid-Level WordPress Site Builder to join our internal agency team. Rather than focusing on heavy backend engineering, this role focuses on transforming structured website data into polished, highly tailored front-end experiences for our clients.
Working in tandem with our Lead Developer, who will map out custom post architectures, you will be responsible for designing, building, and connecting dynamic global templates, archives, and layouts to display that data perfectly.
We are looking for a dedicated internal team member to grow with our company; independent freelancers, white-label providers, or agencies will not be considered.
Who We Are Looking For
We are hiring for personality, resourcefulness, and communication just as much as technical skill. We are hoping to find that:
- You are a self-starter: You thrive in a remote environment and can manage your own time effectively without someone looking over your shoulder.
- You know when to ask for help: This is our most critical requirement. We do not want “silent spinners” who waste hours stuck on a single problem. You must know how to timebox a challenge, document what you’ve tried, and proactively reach out to the team for guidance.
- You are eager to learn the “Why”: You don’t just want to click buttons; you want to understand and learn best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Dynamic Templates: Construct and maintain global templates—including Headers, Footers, Single Posts, and Archives—using Elementor Pro Theme Builder.
- Map Dynamic Data: Seamlessly connect Elementor widgets to dynamic content fields and custom post types (CPTs) using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Manage Taxonomies: Implement intuitive layouts that leverage custom categories, tags, and taxonomies to seamlessly filter and display client content.
- Optimize for Responsiveness: Guarantee that all custom templates function flawlessly and look sharp across mobile, tablet, and desktop displays.
- Collaborate & Execute: Partner with the technical lead to review project briefs, translating backend structural requirements into polished, client-facing pages.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Elementor Pro Mastery: Proven ability to build dynamic template structures with precise Display Conditions, moving beyond basic static pages.
- WordPress Core Literacy: Deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, including the behavior of post types, metadata, taxonomies, and archives.
- Dynamic Data Familiarity: Clear grasp of how data flows from custom backend fields (ACF) into front-end Elementor layouts.
- Front-End Design Eye: Strong command of clean layout design, typography, spacing, alignment, and modern UX principles.
- Workspace Organization: Habit of maintaining a clean environment through proper element naming conventions and consistent global styling settings.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience with custom web application development (PHP/JS) from scratch.
- Familiarity with other CMS or e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, MODX).
- Prior experience in an agency environment managing multiple client sites.
- Familiarity with AI-based development tools such as Google Antigravity.
Benefits at Site-Seeker
- Medical insurance program.
- Contribution program for retirement savings.
- Flexible, high-performance work culture that rewards innovation and creativity. .
