Job summary

Lignetics, INC. seeks a Woodyard Loader Operator to join our team in West Virginia. You will mix materials to meet production needs, receive and sort raw inputs, and inspect quality per specs. The role requires operation around heavy equipment, safety compliance, and reliable communication with production staff.

The position offers a 4pm–12:30am shift, $17/hour plus a $1 shift differential, and a comprehensive benefits package. Pre-employment checks apply and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years loader operation experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and react to verbal safety commands in English.
• Proficient reading and following equipment manuals/LOTO procedures.
• Able to read instructions and report issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Mix material per specification to prep production for upcoming days.
• Receive incoming raw material and separate by species.
• Inspect material quality and report defects to leadership.
• Load infeed bin per production schedule requirements.
• Conduct loader inspections and maintenance.
• Communicate status of work flow with team.
• Other accountabilities as required.

Woodyard Loader Operator

Woodyard Loader Operator Job Duties:

• Mix material per specification to ensure production is set up for upcoming days to ensure proper blend and moisture content.
• Receiving incoming loads of raw materials and separate by species
• Inspect quality of raw material to standard and notify plant leadership of any defects
• Load infeed bin per production schedule requirements
• Conduct loader inspections and perform loader maintenance
• Communicate with co-workers regarding status of work flow
• Other accountabilities as required

Woodyard Loader Operator Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• One to two years loader operation experience in an industrial setting highly preferred
• Ability to immediately understand and react to verbal safety commands, audio alarms, and written hazard alerts in English in a Manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in English to accurately read, interpret, and execute equipment lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols and machine operation manuals.
• Sufficient English verbal skills to clearly and instantly report machine malfunctions, near-misses, or unsafe floor conditions to supervisors and team members.
• This role operates in the immediate vicinity of fast-moving, heavy automated equipment. Clear, real-time communication and strict adherence to English-language safety signage are mandatory for workplace safety.
• Will need good eye, hand and foot coordination
• Will need the ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task
• Will need to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and stand and sit for long periods of time
• Will need to climb up and down stairs to get in and out of loader with no fear of confined spaces or heights
• Requires the ability to do simple math calculations, use basic tools, and exhibit mechanical aptitude when conducting loader maintenance
