Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a dependable 1st shift Production Worker for a well-established custom woodworking company in the Rockford area. You will assemble, cut, and finish wood products using hand and power tools, while following blueprints and safety rules. Hours are Mon-Fri 6:30 AM–3:00 PM with pay of $18–$23 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or woodworking is preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds alone and 75-100 pounds with a helper.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and manufacture custom wood products according to specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely.
• Measure, cut, sand, and finish materials with attention to detail.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or production drawings.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with packaging, staging, and other production duties as assigned.
