Hood Industries, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Area Superintendent for its Beaumont, Mississippi plywood facility. The role leads daily operations, coaches supervisors, and drives safety, quality, productivity, and cost metrics to meet company goals.

The greenfield site plans to employ up to 250 people, with a strong emphasis on the Hood Way and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include managing KPIs, budgets, production planning, and staff development while ensuring compliance with policies

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary manufacturing education preferred.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day operations of assigned manufacturing area to meet safety, quality, productivity and cost objectives.
• Monitor KPI's, forecasts, budgets, productivity, inventories and safety metrics.
• Coach supervisors and develop high-potential employees; promote teamwork and accountability.
• Resolve scheduling, staffing and production issues; maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Foster customer-focused culture to meet internal and external needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws and operating standards; drive continuous improvement.
