Job summary

Mayzon is seeking a Machine Operator for their facility in New Castle, Delaware. The ideal candidate will operate various woodworking machines safely and efficiently while ensuring quality control of production.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, measuring parts, maintaining production logs, and assisting with maintenance tasks. Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience in machine set up and/or operation.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates production machinery according to prints and specifications.
• Sets up machine, including all tooling and auxiliary equipment.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools for compliance.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced.
• Inspects equipment prior to use and performs basic maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

Skills

Ability to follow directions and work well in a team

Basic mechanical ability

Ability to interpret engineering blueprints

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
