Beams Custom Woodworking & Cabinetry in Caernarvon Township, PA is seeking an experienced Wood Moulder Operator. The role focuses on setting up and running moulding equipment to produce precise wood profiles, monitoring production quality, and ensuring safe, efficient operation on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, documenting production checks, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a wood moulder or similar woodworking machinery is required.
• Ability to set up, operate, and adjust moulding equipment to produce profiles according to specifications.
• Strong attention to detail to inspect products and maintain quality.

Responsabilités

• Machine Setup: Set up and adjust moulding equipment according to job specifications, including cutter heads, feed speeds, and machine settings, to achieve the required wood profiles.
• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor moulding machinery throughout the production process, ensuring consistent product quality and efficient operation.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, proper dimensions, smoothness, depth of cut, and compliance with customer and production specifications.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and minor repairs. Identify worn or damaged components and report maintenance issues as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Recognize and resolve common machine and production issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
• Safety and Housekeeping: Follow all safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Production Documentation: Complete required production records, quality checks, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Material Handling: Handle, inspect, and feed wood stock into the machine while ensuring proper material alignment and consistent production flow.
