  • Collaborate closely with sourcing, materials development, and cross-functional teams to select and develop appropriate fabrics, trims, colors, and construction details.
  • Provide basic fit and body block information as needed throughout the development process.
  • Prepare and present seasonal design concepts and collections through compelling visual presentations.
  • Clearly articulate design intent, inspiration, and product direction to internal partners and leadership.
  • Participate in fittings and product reviews, incorporating feedback while protecting the overall design vision.
  • Balance creativity, trend relevance, functionality, and commercial considerations throughout the design process.
  • Support the Design Director with seasonal design initiatives and broader team objectives.
Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in fashion, activewear, sportswear, or contemporary apparel design.
  • Experience designing across fleece, knits, sport, and/or swimwear.
  • Strong sketching skills and the ability to communicate design ideas visually.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of garment construction, fit, and product development.
  • Proven ability to independently develop technical packages/tech packs.
