Job summary

The University of Denver is seeking a Women’s Tennis Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in coaching, recruiting, scheduling, and program operations. The role includes budget management, student-athlete mentoring, travel logistics, and coordination with technical software and internal departments to ensure a productive, compliant program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Successful coaching experience.
  • Successful recruiting of student-athletes committed to academic and athletic excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the program including coaching, recruiting, event scheduling, and supervision of program personnel.
  • Manage budget and travel logistics, meals, equipment, and team operations.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA and conference rules and foster a culture of respect and positive communication.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and mentor student-athletes and staff.
  • Uphold professional standards and positive relationships within the division and university.
