The Stroum Jewish Community Center on Mercer Island seeks a Women’s Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead small-group sessions that improve strength, mobility, confidence, and overall health for women at every life stage.
You will design progressive programs such as Women’s Strength Foundations, Midlife Strength, and Bone Health & Strength, coach proper lifting mechanics, track progress, and maintain a safe, inclusive training space.
Description: Help women build strength, confidence, and lifelong health at the Stroum Jewish Community Center. We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Women’s Strength & Conditioning Coach who is passionate about helping women at every stage of life improve their strength, mobility, confidence, and overall well-being through safe, progressive, and evidence-based training. As a Women’s Strength & Conditioning Coach, you will lead specialized small-group training programs designed to help participants improve muscular strength, bone health, balance, posture, mobility, and functional fitness. You will create a supportive and empowering environment where beginners feel comfortable learning and experienced participants continue to grow. Programs may include Women’s Strength Foundations, Midlife Strength, Bone Health & Strength, and Small Group Personal Training.
Teach movement fundamentals, proper lifting techniques, and build participant confidence using strength training equipment.
Help women navigate midlife changes through progressive resistance training that supports muscle preservation, metabolism, mobility, energy, and overall health.
Design safe, weight-bearing, and resistance-based exercise programs that support bone strength, posture, balance, and fall prevention.
Provide individualized coaching in a small-group setting by modifying exercises, providing feedback, and tracking participant progress.
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, certifications, coaching expertise, and assigned programs.
