TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center seeks a Womens Services Nurse Manager to lead daily operations of the unit, oversee staffing, and uphold patient-centered care. This role requires RN licensure in Tennessee and a bachelor’s degree in nursing, with leadership experience highly preferred.

You will implement evidence-based practices, ensure regulatory compliance, coach staff, and partner with physicians to improve outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Womens Services Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What you will do in this role:

• Help create a superior clinical identity by operationalizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes, while ensuring adherence to standards of care.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiples tasks and projects in a productive manner.
• Demonstrate interdepartmental support and teamwork through a supportive and collaborative approach.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures, mandatory requirements, and licensure and certification requirements.
• Meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives as listed in the Performance Management Plan.
• Establish orientation and annual competency criteria for staff and ensure successful completion.
• Demonstrate ability to identify strategic management initiatives.
• Respond to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues in a timely manner.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state required.
• 1-3 years of related clinical experience required.
• Prior leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years. The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County, a Certified Primary Stroke Center and a designated Level III Trauma Center. The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville features a six-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), spacious maternity suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient breastfeeding services.
