Job summary

Radiology Ltd., a medical imaging company, seeks a Full Time Women's Imaging Technician Assistant at our La Cholla site in Tucson, AZ. This entry-level role supports radiology staff with mammograms, ultrasounds, and related exams.

We offer growth opportunities and educational scholarships for careers in medical imaging. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a team-focused, patient-centered environment in Southern Arizona since 1933.

Qualifications

High School diploma required.
Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills.
Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflow.
Ability to work on a team and seek out where help is needed.
Responsible, reliable and dependable.
Proficient in Windows-based PC applications.
Must be able to pass a General Skills Test.
Prior medical office experience helpful (Medical Assistant training).
Bilingual is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for exams.
Input accurate documentation from technologist history sheet into application for the radiologist.
Must navigate multiple computer systems.
Provide patient education for any exams they schedule and/or patients that are scheduled for a biopsy.
Schedule patients for callback exams and biopsies.
Call referring physician's office for doctor's orders.
Assist technologists and radiologists with other duties as needed.
