Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an OBGYN Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens coverage in Lancaster, CA. The selected clinician will work Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm in an outpatient clinic focused on GYN and some OB cases.

Must have strong GYN experience, be comfortable with preventive GYN care and contraception services, and be able to perform or coordinate ultrasound checks. Licensure in California and credentialing within 60–90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Strong GYN experience required with OB/GYN focus.
• Comfortable with well-woman visits and preventive GYN care.
• Active California medical license and credentialing in 60–90 days.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic coverage, primarily GYN with some OB.
• Perform own ultrasound checks for fetal heart tones when needed.
• Manage contraceptive services (Nexplanon/IUD) and abnormal gynecologic cases.

OBGYN Nurse Practitioner (NP)

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 8 Pay Rate: $62.08 - $67.20

This facility is seeking a OBGYN / Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill acurrentneed.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.


• Job Setting: Outpatient clinic.


• Types of Cases: Focus will be with GYN cases and some OB, if schedule shifts seeing well women visits. Some Video appointments included along with clinic coverage; Strong GYN experience required. Contraception (Nexplanon and IUD Placement), simple routine Gynecology appointments, abnormal bleeding, ovarian cysts, vaginal discharges. Comfortable doing own ultrasounds to check fetal heart tones. Preferred experience with dating down to 8 weeks but not required. Must be comfortable with preventive GYN cases. EMB & comfortable with abnormal bleeding & HRT. Bartholin Abscess, PAPS.


• Credentialing timeframe: 60 - 90 days.


• Licensure: Must have an active California license.
