Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare in Gilbert, AZ, is seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Comprehensive Women’s Healthcare, part of Genesis OBGYN. A thriving practice includes 3 Physicians, 1 Physician Assistant and 3 Nurse Practitioners, with both OB and GYN care and in-office procedures.

The provider will see a diverse patient population, perform exams, prescribe therapies, provide prenatal care and family planning, and work closely with physicians to deliver

Qualifications

• National NP certification or State NP license in AZ.
• Unrestricted AZ licensure or ability to obtain.
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform exams, screenings, treatments, and document health history.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide pre- and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education.

Position Highlights:

• Full time opportunity with a 4 day workweek option.
• 100% Women's Health Practice seeing both obstetrical and gynecology patients
• Scope of practice includes:
  • Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
  • Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
  • Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
  • Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care
  • Perform in office procedures
• Outpatient only opportunity with no call responsibilities

Requirements:

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active Arizona licensure or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
