Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialization as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.
- Nationally recognized certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
Responsibilities
- Routine physical exams and annual well woman exams.
- Manage birth control consult and placements.
- Conduct STI testing and initial infertility work-up.
- Assist with management of perimenopause and menopause.
