Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare’s Womens Health Associates of Southern Nevada (WHASN) in Spring Valley is seeking a Full Time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join a small team. The office operates Monday through Thursday with extended hours, offering a guaranteed 4-day work week and weekend phone coverage.

New graduates are encouraged to apply alongside experienced candidates. The role necessitates Nevada licensure, national NP certification, and DEA license, with malpractice coverage provided

Qualifications

• Active National Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Unrestricted Nevada licensure or ability to obtain.
• Current active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• CPR, BLS, and NALS certification or ability to obtain.
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans.
• Strong communication with patients, team, and management.
• Ability to make medical decisions without direct supervision.
• Willingness to collaborate with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and document health history.
• Prescribe medications and therapies; order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide pre- and post-natal care and family planning services; patient education.
• Assist physicians and work closely with the medical team to ensure patient care.
