Northeast Health District seeks a compassionate Women’s Health NP (WHNP) or Family NP (FNP) to join the Walton County Health Department. The APRN will provide advanced nursing and primary care focused on family planning and women’s health under a physician-approved protocol.

Responsibilities include health assessments, counseling, contraceptive care (IUD and Nexplanon), documentation, and collaboration with the public health team.

Formación

• Master's degree in nursing and Georgia APRN licensure.
• Certification in the specialty area per Georgia Board of Nursing.
• Current Georgia RN license and CPR certification.
• Experience in women's health preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced nursing care per nurse protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and exams.
• Counsel and educate patients on health, prevention, and reproductive health.
• Diagnose and treat within APRN scope and protocols.
• Provide family planning and women’s health services.
• Insert and manage IUDs and Nexplanon implants.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and public health team.
