Job summary

Austin Ridge Bible Church in Texas is seeking a Women’s Director to lead a strategic ministry that helps every woman know Christ, grow in faith, and be equipped to make a difference. You will cast vision, plan environments for growth, and build a leadership team to disciple other women.

The role requires a proven track record in developing people, strategic ministry planning, and a heart for reaching women with the gospel, both inside and outside the church.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement ministry for all women to make disciples.
• Plan, promote, coordinate and delegate ministry leadership and activities for women.
• Develop environments for women to know Jesus, grow, and serve.
• Build and shepherd a women’s ministry leadership team.
• Equip, empower, and multiply ministry leaders.
• Care for and minister to women; teach Bible studies and Equip trainings.
• Collaborate with Events and Digital Platforms to support vision.

Position DescriptionThe Women’s Director is a high-capacity leader who is responsible for leading and implementing a strategic and visionary ministry that gives every woman the opportunity to know Christ, grow in her faith, and be equipped to make a spiritual difference inside and outside the church.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead a ministry designed to reach the scope of every woman with the focus of making disciples who make disciples.Strategic ministry planningCreate environments to help women come to know Jesus, grow in him, and serve.Plan, promote, coordinate and delegate ministry leadership and activities for women, including Bible studies, mentoring, retreats, training, and events.Build, lead, and shepherd a women’s ministry leadership team.Equip, empower, mobilize, and multiply ministry leaders.Care for and minister to women.Teach and develop content for various Bible studies, trainings, classes such as Equip, and events.Recruit, develop and equip teachers for Bible study.Work with WM Events and Digital Platforms Coordinator to plan strategic events and social media narrative that build and supports the overall vision and mission of WM.Participate in director duties as determined by Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, and POM.Key Competencies and QualificationsModels the qualifications of an elder (1 Tim 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4)Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing, personal relationship with HimLives out the Core Values of ARBC and agrees with our Doctrinal StatementA self-motivated, collaborative, and strategic leaderConcerned for those who don’t know JesusLeader and multiplier of people with a love and passion for making disciplesProven experience in developing people and teamsProven experience in leading and scaling an effective, growing ministrySelf-motivated, humble, teachable, and relationalDisplays strong interpersonal skillsCultural fit with the RidgeTheological Training preferred
