Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to administer patient care in inpatient and Hospital Care at Home settings. You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include graduate of an approved nursing program and an active RN license (Alabama or multi-state). BLS is mandatory; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Alabama or valid multistate (eNLC) license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required for certain areas.
• 1 year experience required unless AVP level or above is approved.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops/revises an individualized plan of care.
• Collaborates with the medical staff and nursing leadership to plan and manage care.
• Documents patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and compliant manner.
• Acts as a patient and family advocate and supports education for staff and students.
• Provides care within Hospital Care at Home programs and in-home nursing as required.
