Job Overview

We are searching for a fellowship‑trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join our retina practice in Spencer, Iowa. This partnership track position will fill the role of a senior retina specialist who will soon retire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full retinal clinics, including clinical evaluation and management of retinal diseases.
• Perform intravitreal injections and surgical cases, contributing to a volume of approximately 9,000 injections and 225 surgical cases annually.
• Maintain and strengthen referral relationships with affiliated healthcare organizations.
• Participate in clinical trials and educational activities as part of the practice’s established retina fellowship program.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified ophthalmology with a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery.
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa.
• Strong surgical interest and proven surgical skills.
