Job summary

Wolfe Eye Clinic in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist to join our Central Iowa staff based out of the Des Moines clinic.

You will manage high-volume glaucoma care and contribute to cataract surgery services, with ~1100 cataract surgeries annually, while strengthening referral relationships across Wolfe Eye Clinic.

Overview

We are currently searching for a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist to join our Central Iowa staff based out of our Des Moines clinic. Growth in our patient load has demanded that we add an additional specialist to help with this volume. The successful candidate will have cataract surgical volume expected to be in the 1100 case range annually and will help strengthen our established referral relationships within the organization.

West Des Moines and the Des Moines metro area offer access to trails, parklands, a variety of entertainment options, excellent public and private schools, affordable housing, and easy access to the Des Moines International Airport.

Wolfe Eye Clinic is a multi-location, multi-subspecialty ophthalmology practice. We are Iowa's largest ophthalmology clinic with approximately 30 ophthalmologists based in 13 main offices across the state. The practice has a long history and offers opportunities for professional growth, with a compensation profile that is typically in the top 10% nationally and a partnership structure offering equal ownership across physician staff.
