Job summary

Trinity Health's Nurse Specialty – Wound, Ostomy, Continence RN provides expert care for patients with ostomy and wound needs, across the inpatient population. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and collaboration with the health care team.

The position is part-time, primarily Monday–Friday, with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and supporting post-discharge follow-up through outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required; Masters preferred.
• Completion of Enterostomal Therapy Program.
• Experience: 3–5 years progressively responsible related work.
• Licensure: Current Michigan RN license; WOC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care across the health care continuum.
• Develop care plans with nursing staff and other disciplines.
• Select ostomy and wound care products based on patient needs.
• Review and evaluate interdisciplinary care plans.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in committees.
