Job summary

CACI is seeking a WMD Subject Matter Expert in Charlottesville, VA to support the DSAT2 program at the DIA. You will develop all-source assessments, briefings, and other intelligence products for US decisionmakers.

The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, a Masters in engineering or science, and at least 6 years of WMD analysis experience with recent work. You will collaborate with government, military, and contractor staff in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Published WMD reports and/or authored new procedures/methods for WMD issues.
  • Recent WMD-related work (within last 2 years).

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a talented WMD Subject Matter Expert in Charlottesville, VA. In this position, you will support the Data Science, Analysis, and Targeting 2 (DSAT2) program at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). As a vital member of the DSAT2 team, you will enable the cutting-edge intelligence that US decisionmakers require to understand and overcome the nation’s critical defense challenges. You will work side-by-side with government, military, and contractor staff to create detailed technical all-source assessments, briefings, and other intelligence products. Your technical expertise, writing skills, creativity, and critical thinking will be put to excellent use in a highly collaborative work environment.

As a WMD Subject Matter Expert, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Perform weapons of mass destruction (WMD) (e.g.,chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) analysis to develop innovative collection concepts

  • Interface with academia, DoD, national labs and the Intelligence Community to address WMD issues

  • Independently develop procedures/tradecraft for more junior personnel

  • Write reports detailing methods, results, and impacts to assigned WMD issues

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Extensive demonstrated knowledge/experience with weapons of mass destruction (e.g., chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) collection and analysis

  • Masters degree in engineering, science, or equivalent experience

  • 6 years' experience creating WMD-related reports based upon the resulting work/accomplishments

  • Published WMD reports and/or authored new procedures/methods to create innovative approaches to solve complex WMD issues

  • Significant current experience (i.e., within last 2 years) in WMD-related work

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience developing DIA Finished Intelligence Products

  • Proficiency with IC analytics tools and databases

  • Strong briefing and collaboration skills

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
