Job summary

Leidos is seeking a WMD-CT Analyst in McLean, VA, to support the Analysis Solutions Business Area. The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph and experience in WMD/CT intelligence, including finished intelligence production and briefings to senior leadership.

Responsibilities include identifying mission gaps, coordinating with IC partners, and developing collection strategies to address critical CT targets while supporting operational elements in both steady-state and crisis contexts.

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
  • Experience supporting CBRN or WMD efforts within the Intelligence or DoD communities.
  • Experience working with intelligence collection related to CT issues.
  • Experience in HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, or all-source collection management.
  • Experience writing formal deliverables, conducting independent research on time-sensitive tasks, and briefing to a mature audience.
  • Strong CT analysis background and knowledge of CT AORs.

The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. The Analyst will gather and synthesize all source terrorist-related information to support development of daily counterterrorism (CT) products that promote situational awareness across the Intelligence Community (IC) and broader US Government. The Analyst may be required to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize, and develop strategies to address mission needs, intelligence gaps, resource, and analytic challenges with a focus on chemical terrorism and chemical warfare
  • Engage with WMD-CT partners in the IC, DoD, and other agencies identifying new and nontraditional relationships, while strengthening existing relationships with U.S. and foreign partners
  • Identify methods to improve and sustain IC support to operational elements (counterWMD/CBRN and chemical defense) during steady state operations as well as during a crisis
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of Government WMD-CT intelligence and produce intelligence assessments, technical studies, collection requirements, and other information related to WMD.
  • Support the development, coordination, editing, and publishing of a range of products that may include finished intelligence products, talking points, presentations, and booklets.
  • Assist with Interagency Focus Groups
  • Prepare products and talking points on specific collection targets and issues as required
  • Collaborate with IC partners to develop and recommend specific collection strategies; identifying actions and opportunities to enhance IC collection to address the most critical gaps against the hardest WMD- CT targets
Requirements
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
  • Experience supporting CBRN or WMD efforts within the Intelligence or DoD communities
  • Experience working with intelligence collection as it related to CT issues
  • Demonstrated experience in HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, or all source collection management
  • Experience writing formal deliverables, conducting independent research on time sensitive tasks, and providing high-level briefings to a mature audience
  • Strong background in CT analysis and respective AORs
  • Broad-based experience supporting defense and intelligence enterprises and an understanding of different IC customers' needs
  • Experience writing Finished Intelligence (FINTEL) products is required
  • Excellent communication skills are required in order to produce reports and brief members of upper management
  • Experience presenting information to diverse audiences
  • Experience working with key US foreign policy and national security CT objectives
  • Bachelor's degree + 8 years of relevant experience is required.

Pay Range: Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
