Job summary

METROLINA GREENHOUSES LLC is seeking Seasonal PPS Hourly Merchandisers in Rehoboth Beach, DE to promote live plant sales by creating and maintaining attractive displays.

You will unload plant carts, help customers, follow safety protocols, and support store staff during peak seasons. The role is outdoors, requires lifting up to 50 lbs, weekend availability, and a customer-friendly attitude.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not directly manage employees or supervise a team.

Position SummaryMerchandisers are responsible for promoting the sale of live plants by creating and maintaining displays based on the plants' characteristics and the layout of each Garden Center.

Merchandisers unload plant carts onto fixtures and maintain the overall appearance of displays by culling and condensing plants.

Job Setting & Physical Demands

Employees in this position work primarily outdoors and may be required to travel between locations within their assigned District and occasionally work indoors. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. The role has some administrative duties such as submitting photographs and completing surveys that may be required. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and use a smart phone. Fluency in the English language and the ability to see, speak, hear, read, and write are required. Must be able to lift and push up to 35lbs unassisted, occasionally up to 50lbs and perform buddy lift 51-100lbs. Must be able to walk, squat, twist, bend, reach, climb stairs and/or step stools under 5 feet on occasion.
