Job summary

WisCorps is seeking individuals for an AmeriCorps State/National placement in Wisconsin. The role focuses on community outreach, education program creation and delivery, and land management across multiple sites. Start is 09/01/2026 with end 08/31/2027, full-time in-state assignments.

Program benefits include an education award, housing, health coverage, a living allowance, stipend, and paid training. Uniforms provided; age 18+ required and English language proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Some college education is expected.
• Experience or interest in community outreach and education is desirable.
• Ability to communicate clearly and engage volunteers.

To support community-focused organizations and increase their capacity to provide their services, while adopting WisCorps' mission. The mission is to engage the next generation of environmental leaders through guided, hands-on service opportunities that benefit our region’s public lands.. Additionally, members in this role will be provided with opportunities to gain practical conservation and/or educator skills while exploring different career options in locations across Wisconsin.

Member Duties

Individual Placement members are responsible for carrying out the duties assigned to them from their service site location. These duties may include community connection, education programing creation and implementation, and/or land management activities.
