Job summary

Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens position in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Join a hospital ED with newborn deliveries and a busy regional patient population, offering flexible coverage and a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires board-certified Emergency Medicine, ACLS/ATLS/BLS/PALS, and at least 1 year of EM experience, with credentialing typically 60–90 days and a start date ASAP. Weekly pay ranges from $6,160 to $7,290.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with active license.
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Medicine experience required.
• Active and clean NPDB/file on record.
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Ability to work in a busy community ED with broad responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care for a broad range of patient acuity levels.
• Evaluate and stabilize patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Manage adult and pediatric emergency cases as needed.
• Collaborate with on-site support services and specialty teams when appropriate.
• Provide coverage in a setting that includes newborn deliveries in the ED.
• Deliver efficient, patient-centered care while maintaining strong clinical judgment.
• Support ongoing emergency coverage needs in a flexible locum tenens role.
