The role requires collaboration with systems design, procurement, quality, and manufacturing to implement engineering change requests, perform competitive benchmarking, and ensure compliance with safety and signal integrity standards through structured testing.

Responsabilités

• Cost & Weight Reduction: Analyze electrical schematics and harness layouts to identify cost savings, weight reductions, and design simplifications.
• Design Optimization: Evaluate wiring topologies, harness routing, and component selections to improve manufacturability and serviceability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with systems design, procurement, quality, and manufacturing to implement ECRs while meeting program targets.
• Benchmarking & Competitive Analysis: Perform tear-downs and benchmarking to identify best practices and emerging technologies.
• Quality & Validation: Ensure design changes meet safety, signal integrity, and performance standards via testing and DFMEA/DVP&R.
