Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Wiring Technician to drill holes, install low-voltage wiring, assemble and install control panels, and test systems for safe functionality. The role involves wiring according to NEC and engineered drawings, installing gear like SWGR and VFDs, and ensuring precise assembly in panels.

You will read schematics, work with conduit systems, and perform site work as needed. A high school diploma is preferred, with 2+ years in wiring electrical panels and QA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Two plus years of experience with conduit knockout, conduit threader, conduit benders, strippers, crimppers, drills, screwdrivers and other hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Reference shop prints to determine installation per NEC and client specs.
• Install wire ways, conduits, cable trays, and ground electrical equipment.
• Install gear such as SWGR, VFDs, ATS, DCS systems, transformers and PLC cabinets per drawings.
• Connect wiring between components using hand tools and schematics.
• Assemble and install components in panels per engineered drawings.
• Drill, tap, ream, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes in parts.
