Job summary

Miller Industries, based in Ooltewah, TN, is seeking a Wiring Technician to assemble, install, and test complex wiring harnesses and electrical systems for heavy-duty tow trucks. You will ensure all components are wired correctly and function safely.

Essential duties include measuring, cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires, testing assemblies, wiring control panels, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years’ related experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations.
• Experience with hand tools including pneumatic and power tools; wiring tools.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires with precision.
• Test and troubleshoot wiring and assemblies.
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Have basic hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, sockets, wiring tools).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
