Job summary

The DAVIS Companies are seeking a skilled Wiring Technician to assemble and wire industrial control panels in Buford, GA. You will read schematics and BOMs, assemble, wire, and test panels, and work with relays, PLCs, and other components on a daily basis.

Requires 2–4 years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Position is on-site with a steady daytime shift and hourly pay of $19–$21. Join a growing manufacturing team and contribute to robust panel builds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of Industrial Control Panel experience preferred.
• Experience with PLCs and VFDs is required.

Responsibilities

• Read design specifications, electrical and mechanical drawings, and BOMs.
• Wiring, assembly, and testing of industrial control panels.
• Wire components such as relays, terminal blocks, pushbuttons, PLCs and other electrical parts.

Wiring Technician - Control Panels

An electronic component manufacturing is seeking a Skilled Control Panel Wiring Technician, to complete the wiring and assembly of Industrial control panel cabinets inBuford, GA

Pay Rate of the Wiring Technician:

$19-21/hr

Shift of the Wiring Technician:

Monday-Thursday 6:30AM-5PM

Responsibilities of the Wiring Technician:

• Read design specifications, electrical/mechanical technical drawings and bill of materials
• Wiring, Assembly, and Testing of Industrial Control Panels is a must
• Familiarity and the ability to wire components such as relays, terminal blocks, pushbuttons, PLCs and other electrical components.
• Using small hand tools, measuring tools and wire prepping tools.
• Reviewing, laying out and wiring control panels from wire diagrams, customer feedback and general notes.
• Reviewing work tickets, drawings and BOM' s to ensure accuracy.
• Working with other techs and the shop manager to identify and correct wiring problems early in the build process.
• Experience with PLCs and VFD
