Job summary

Wenger Manufacturing, LLC, a JBT Marel company, is seeking a motivated Wiring/Assembly Technician to join our Assembly team in Kansas. You will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment at customer sites, troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and testing equipment, follow SOPs and safety guidelines, and document service activities and parts used.

Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve issues and support continuous improvement in field

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment at customer sites
• Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues using schematics, diagrams, and testing equipment.
• Follows standard operating procedures and safety guidelines and established procedures to complete assigned work.
• Maintains accurate records of service activities, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Communicates with customers to provide updates and technical support during service visits.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and assigned company assests.
• Participates in training to stay current with new technologies and products.
• Adheres to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains a high level of professionalism with internal and external Customers.
• Assists with inventory management and preparation of service materials.
• Assists in commissioning and testing of new equipment installations.
• Collaborates with other technicians and engineers to resolve service issues.
• Supports continuous improvement efforts in field service operations.
