Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems LLC is seeking a Wiring Assembler for 1st shift at our Streetsboro, OH site. You will bind wires to form wire harnesses, read wiring schemes, and perform quality checks on each part.

The role requires assembly experience, ability to use basic test tools, precision measuring tools, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electronics or wiring.
• Ability to read and follow simple assembly diagrams and procedures.
• Ability to use basic electronic test tools (continuity/cable testers).
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Good eyesight and ability to work with small parts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble kits of small parts into electronic assemblies using instructions and hand tools.
• Final assembly of wire harnesses from sub-assemblies following procedures.
• Sort, label and package electronic assemblies and harnesses.
• Maintain ownership of work quality and output.
• Keep a clean and orderly work area.
• Care for, lubricate and clean hand tools; provide feedback to supervisors.

Position Description: Wiring Assembler- 1st Shift

Wiring Assembler at LayerZero Power Systems, LLC. will be responsible for binding wires to form wire harnesses for our electrical systems and equipment. This position requires reading electrical wiring schemes and binding wires together using sleeves, cable lacing, cable ties, and electrical conduits. This role involves inspecting and measuring all parts and conducting quality control tests.

Requirements

Primary Duties:

• Assemble kits of small parts into electronic assemblies using instructions and hand tools.
• Final assembly of wire harnesses from machine-made sub-assemblies following standard procedures.
• Sorting, labeling and packaging electronic assemblies and harnesses.
• Taking responsibility for ownership of the quality of his or her work output.
• Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area.
• Care, lubrication and cleaning of hand tools.
• Providing supervisors with feedback to help improve quality and efficiency.

Experience & Skills:

• Work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Work experience with electronics or wiring.
• Ability to read and follow simple assembly diagrams and procedures.
• Ability to use simple electronic test tools, e.g., continuity testers, cable testers, etc.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools, e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Good eyesight and ability to work with small parts and tools.
• Attention to detail and desire to do very high-quality work.

Preferred:

• Work experience assembling electronic modules.
• Work experience assembling electronic wire harnesses.
• Basic understanding of electricity.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use fingers to grasp, move, and assemble very small objects
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Visual acuity to read instructions, assemble, and inspect parts produced.

Education:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent credentials.
