Hitachi Global Air Power in Michigan City, Indiana, is seeking a Wirer to join the production team. The role focuses on wiring product models to P&I, WD drawings, and work instructions, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

The Wirer is a highly visible front‑line position working with a production team of Wirers. This role will require quick decision making, assertiveness, great communication, and organization to meet production expectations and customer needs. Each Wirer is accountable for producing defect‑free product within specifications.
This position is located at the manufacturing plant of Hitachi Global Air Power in Michigan City, Indiana, and reports to the area Supervisor.
The successful candidate is responsible for complying with Hitachi Global Air Power Code of Ethics and related policies. In performing the job, the incumbent shall take all steps necessary to comply with our safety policies and requirements and must actively support the organization's efforts to meet and exceed its goals of creating and maintaining a safe workplace.
