Job summary

Bosch USA is seeking a Research Engineer to drive innovative wireless research in the Wireless Sensor and Embedded Systems group. You will design smart wireless solutions and prototypes leveraging AI/ML in a collaborative, international setting.

The role requires a PhD in CS or EE and expertise in wireless tech, signal processing, and ML. Base salary is competitive in the US market with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience in wireless communication, signal processing and machine learning.
• Experience in wireless sensing techniques: RSSI, ToF, CSI, CIR.
• Experience with wireless standards (IEEE 802.11x, 802.15.4, BLE).
• Strong C and Python programming skills; embedded programming a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive applied research in next generation communication and sensing systems.
• Design and develop intelligent wireless solutions with focus on AI/ML.
• Develop software to implement proof-of-concept prototypes.
• Conduct performance analyses using simulations, experiments, and modeling.
• Monitor state-of-the-art developments in academia and industry.
• Publish research as patents and conference/journal publications.
• Work in a diverse, international, cross-disciplinary environment.
